In high school I took a sewing class to fill an easy senior year credit. At the time I didn’t truly appreciate the skill and craft of sewing, but now my lack of knowledge has created some sewing envy.
For all you out there that love the look of BabyLegs legwarmers like me, but are not a fan of the high ticket price check this out. How simple! If only I knew how to sew…
Then there are these adorable outfits my friend Dacia made for Mikayla. She made a dress and shirt out of some very fun fabrics. I am currently working on matching clips, but I am sure they will not even compare to these fun outfits. Again, if I only knew how to sew…
SOOOOOOOOOOO stinkin’ cute!
1. Nice blog layout.
2. Dacia is amazing at her stitchin’.
3. MLK looks like a cutie pie in these pictures.
So cute (both the dresses and the baby)! But I’m sure Dave will regret your sharing the handmade BabyLegs link with me:)
If you truly want to sew, it is really not hard. Do you have a sewing machine? YouTube is a great learning tool or you are always welcome to come over to practice. I don’t know a whole lot, but it’s enough to do most of the things that I want to do.
Stephanie – I do but it is really old! Dacia is going to give me lessons this summer.
Cat – Thanks! Let me know if you make some!
so cute! i did the same thing in college, basic sewing class my senior year and LOVED it. want to do more though…
those outfits are sooo cute- as is her little smile!
Old! Your sewing maching isn’t old…I only got it the day I graduated from College! LOL
Mikayla looks soo cute. I used to sew for you and Christa…simple summer sunsuits and panties. They were soo easy! The hardest part for me was always the cutting..I could sew..just hated cutting out the pieces.
