These are my Top Ten Favorite Places to be:<\/p>\n

  1. My bed snuggled with Ben, Shiloh and Mikayla<\/strong> – This one should explain itself.\u00a0 Two of my favorite people, my dog and my comfy cozy bed.\u00a0 Does it get any better than this?<\/li>\n
  2. Waterfalls <\/strong>– I love them all, big or small.\u00a0 I could sit and watch a waterfall for hours.\u00a0 I think they are some of the prettiest things God created.\n

  3. Guatemala <\/strong>– Spent a summer here with Amy and fell in love with it, the people and the culture.\u00a0 The food is awesome, the people are so loving and accepting and the countryside is gorgeous.\u00a0 My brother just led a group down there for 10 days.\u00a0 I couldn’t go because of commitments here (mainly Mikayla), but I relived my summer there when I saw pictures.<\/li>\n
  4. Coffee shops <\/strong>– While in Guatemala I developed a love for coffee and cute coffee shops.\u00a0\u00a0 In college coffee shops were a popular hangout spot with friends and mentors.\u00a0 Today I enjoy heading to a coffee shop with a good book or some good friends and enjoying a nice, steamy cup of joe!\u00a0 In Bowling Green, my favorite coffee shop is Spencer’s<\/a> on the square.<\/li>\n
  5. Outdoors <\/strong>– I love being outside on a sunny, slightly breezy day.\u00a0 You can do so much outdoors (and a lot of my favorite places are outdoors).\u00a0 In the summer time we love to start a fire and sit around the pit watching movies on the side of the house.\u00a0 In college we would spend an entire day rock climbing.\u00a0 Walking through the woods on\u00a0 a crisp fall afternoon with the leaves crunching underfoot is another favorite.\u00a0 There is so much to do outside, why would anyone want to be glued to a tv screen?<\/li>\n
  6. Anywhere with family and friends<\/strong> – I love spending time with family, even if it is just a quick trip to Target!\u00a0 My love language is quality time and just being together is enough for me.<\/li>\n
  7. On a disc golf course<\/strong> – Steve <\/a>and Luella <\/a>introduced me to this fabulous game about three summers ago.\u00a0 I have been playing it ever since.\u00a0 BG has some of the best courses in the state.\u00a0 We actually have 8 courses<\/a>.\u00a0 If you unfamiliar with disc golf check out this <\/a>informational video.\u00a0 I have some fond memories of times on the disc golf course – like the time I played disc golf in the rain in Florida with Cat<\/a>, Dave<\/a>, Ben <\/a>and Potter…good times!.\u00a0 Check out these photos:\n

  8. In the garden (vegetable garden that is) or a pick your own orchard <\/strong>– As mentioned earlier I love being outside.\u00a0 What better way to spend the day than harvesting fruits and veggies?\u00a0 This is mine and Ben<\/a>‘s third year gardening.\u00a0 This year we have our garden at our house.\u00a0 Check out this post<\/a>. I also enjoy a good pick your own orchard.\u00a0 As a kid we would go with my grandma to Haney’s<\/a> and pick apples.\u00a0 Last summer I went with Dana to The Orchard<\/a> to pick blackberries (which were made inti blackberry jam) and snagged some blueberries across the street.<\/li>\n
  9. The Farm<\/strong> – My grandparents farm holds some great memories for me.\u00a0 We always argued over which route to take (1, 2, 3, or 4), even to this day I will say let’s go Number 3!\u00a0 Then we would take turns driving up the driveway (this was before we had licenses of course).\u00a0 Even as a little child, dad would put us behind the wheel and let us “drive”.\u00a0 Fishing, family dinners, gardens, blackberries, horses, golden retrievers, cinnamon rolls (but only at Christmas)…so many memories!<\/li>\n
  10. KAP <\/a>(Kelly Autism Program)<\/strong> – I just discovered my love for\u00a0 KAP this summer (read here<\/a>).\u00a0 I hate leaving Ben and Mikayla everyday, but I have really enjoyed my time there.\u00a0 Contrary to popular belief I get energized (most days) when working with these kiddos!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
