{"id":625,"date":"2010-01-18T20:37:48","date_gmt":"2010-01-19T02:37:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kickert.info\/beth\/2010\/01\/18\/i-have-a-dream\/"},"modified":"2010-01-18T20:37:48","modified_gmt":"2010-01-19T02:37:48","slug":"i-have-a-dream","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/kickert.info\/beth\/2010\/01\/18\/i-have-a-dream\/","title":{"rendered":"I Have A Dream"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In case you haven&#8217;t heard today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.&#160; A day we set aside to remember the awesomeness that was MLK.&#160; He was a powerful, yet peaceful man who left a huge impact on our world.&#160; He had such an impact on my husband and I we decided to name our daughter after him, <strong>M<\/strong>ikayla <strong>L<\/strong>illian <strong>K<\/strong>ickert.&#160; Here she is sporting her MLK shirt and marching (by marching I mean riding very snuggled up in her stroller) with us in the annual MLK march\/service in BG interspersed with some MLK&#8217;s most impressionable quotes (in my mind anyway).&#160; <\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kickert.info\/beth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/2010January083.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px\" title=\"2010-January 083\" border=\"0\" alt=\"2010-January 083\" src=\"http:\/\/kickert.info\/beth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/2010January083_thumb.jpg\" width=\"244\" height=\"324\" \/><\/a><em>I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.<\/em> <\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kickert.info\/beth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/2010January085.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px\" title=\"2010-January 085\" border=\"0\" alt=\"2010-January 085\" src=\"http:\/\/kickert.info\/beth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/2010January085_thumb.jpg\" width=\"244\" height=\"324\" \/><\/a><em> Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kickert.info\/beth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/2010January092.jpg\"><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px\" title=\"2010-January 092\" border=\"0\" alt=\"2010-January 092\" src=\"http:\/\/kickert.info\/beth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/2010January092_thumb.jpg\" width=\"324\" height=\"244\" \/><\/em><\/a><em>Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.<\/em> <\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kickert.info\/beth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/2010January096.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px\" title=\"2010-January 096\" border=\"0\" alt=\"2010-January 096\" src=\"http:\/\/kickert.info\/beth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/2010January096_thumb.jpg\" width=\"244\" height=\"324\" \/><\/a>&#160;<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><em>He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it.
